PiggyWarmer will be closed until January 2016 due to the upcoming relocation of our business. Thank you for your patience.
Because we are making arrangements to move our operation to South Carolina there will be periods of time for the next few months where we will be out of town and unable to fill orders. We will post our closing dates as they occur. You may still place orders during this time but we will be unable to fill them until we reopen. We thank you for your understanding.

What to do about your itchy leg while it is in a cast? If you ask your doctor or service provider, the first thing they will say is, “Do not attempt to scratch it!” Some of our customers have suggested putting a knitting needle inside the cast to scratch. Others have poured medicated powder through the opening. These actions are definite "no-nos". One of our friends even suggested taking a straw and blowing into the cast. The Orthopedic & Fracture Clinic has some suggestions. Check them out at

If you have a story to tell about how you found yourself in a cast, please share it here. We have had so many unusual accounts of how our customers have broken ankles or legs that they wanted to share before we started our blog. Now they can! We have had victims of skiing accidents, lightning strikes and people going airborne from horses and motorcycles. We have customers who had surgery for any number of reasons. Cast bound folks don't feel so alone when they hear others' stories. Please share them here.
